Need Ideas - College Graduation/birthday/farewell Cake

So I've been asked to design a "very special" cake for a college graduation/birthday/farewell party.
The guest of honor is turning 23 and will be departing for Chile in about five weeks. He likes soccer, playing the guitar, and will be teaching when he arrives in Chile.
Any ideas on what to do for this cake (needs to feed about 30 people)?
