Can someone tell me what to use to attach the fondant to the sugar cookies? ?RI or BC or ?
We use piping gel.

If you put the fondant on as soon as you've taken the cookies out of the oven, the heat of the cookies will melt the bottom of the fondant just enough to bond them together.
I usually loosen the cookies from the sheet, then lay the fondant on them, then transfer them to a cooling rack.
You can also brush the underside of the cookie with a little meringue powder mixed with water and attach it that way.
thank you!! i really appreciate your speedy responses (they are all laid over the table....)
Corn syrup with water works too.
I, too, attach mine while still warm from the oven. I just have the cutouts already done and ready to lay on the cookie while it is still on the cookie sheet.
