Hi
I have promised a friend of mine red velvet cake as a present for his house warming party.
Now I know he and his wife love red velvet with cream cheese frosting, but do i use normal buttercream to do some scroll work on it? Or how does it work?

I even want to put an edible image on the cake. The edible image will be printed on rice paper, thats what the bakery from where i will be printing it told me. So how do i go about placing it on the cake. Any do's dont's?

This is my first time handling an edible image and all your responses will be appreciated icon_smile.gif

Thanks

no advice on edible image im afraid, but for decorating, you could thicken up the frosting with some more sugar so yo pipe it properly, or use bc, it is up to you!
