So I have a customer that wants a truck shaped cake for a birthday party. I have never really cut or carved cakes before.

I used boxed mixees. Can anyone help me out with some tips on carving?

Thanks!

Not sure what type of truck you're wanting to do but if you do a search for Optimus Prime in the gallery there is a user that shows the cake before it was iced and has directions on how she did it. I think it's in the Templates gallery (but I'm not positive)

I just try to have a lot of pictures of different angles, or if possible a small model....Just try to block off the basic shape, and carve away with a serrated knife!
