Ok... Did anyone see Bronwen spray her globe right before she put the fondant on it? Can anyone tell me why she did this? To help the fondant stick? I know that I have a hard time getting my fondant to stick sometimes.... will that help ?!?! icon_surprised.gificon_lol.gif

I'm pretty sure that was probably water she misted onto her icing. You do not want to get it to wet just enough so your fondant will stick.
I always use water myself because my icing has crusted and the fondant needs something to stick to.

I was wondering the same thing. The water would make sense.

Do you just use a water bottle to mist it with?

Yep, just use a spritzer bottle and give the cake a light spray.

You can also use a barely damp paper towel and rub lightly on the cake to moisten the icing.

Wow, I thought everybody did this! LOL icon_rolleyes.gif

Add a drop of two of vanilla to your water and it will smell wonderful when you spritz your cake.
