A question on cake dummies from a dummy......

I got cake dummies from GSA. 4, 6, 8 and 10. My final Wilton Course 3 class is coming up in a few weeks, and I have decided to make the cake out of dummies so I can save and show it.

The edge of the dummies is a perfect 90 degree angle. How do I round it, to get a natural look? Will sandpaper work? Does anyone know what I mean?

Since my fondant work isn't the best, I'm using white fondant and white bc so I can redo if necessary. But, I would like to get this to be perfect.

Thanks for helping a dummy with her dummies! icon_biggrin.gif

Sandpaper works like a charm! I use the finer grade one for wood, I think it's #400 grade sandpaper? icon_confused.gif
