What kind of cake is the one that I have seen on pics here on CC - the cake is a variety of colors - red, green, blue, yellow, orange, pink. I am sure it is Rainbow something but when I search for it I don't find anything like what I am looking for.

Do you layer the batter one on top of the other in the same pan or do you bake each color selection in its own pan? What kind of base cake do you start with? Do you flavor each color?

It looks interesting and I would like to try it if I knew what to do.
