ok, what the heck?! i am having a new issue... my b/c is bulging on the sides and or top of my cake. like a bubble... the cake itself is frozen before i decorate... the cake looks fine until the next morning when i come in! could it be gases releasing over night? ANY help would be great. It is NOT bulging between the layers, it is totally random over solid cake!
yep. it's condensation forming under the icing from icing a cold cake coming back to room temp causing blow outs. I ice at room temp. HTH
