My mother is on a Relay for Life team and the overall theme this year is the 1980's. Her team is The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They want to decorate their booth (outdoor tent) to look like the sewer, but aren't sure how to accomplish this...any ideas?
Thanks!

here's some links to various "Guys & Dolls" backdrops -- easily adapted for TMNT -- just paint an interpretation on 3 large bed sheets and hang on the 3 walls of the booth.

add a 4th bed sheet on top painted to look the top of the tunnel w/ a manhole open and light coming in.

A N D

below is a quick sketch based on 10x10 panels (the usual size for booth walls)

simple perspective (single vanishing point dead center on L and R panels)

just put lots of pipes, electrical cables, stream of water and of course a rat or 2.

do it all up in dark browns, greys, deep shadows, etc.

if you print this out, you can color it up to get an idea of what to do w/ full size (and it will fold to give you the booth shape too!)

FOR EVEN MORE FUN....

print out some of those backdrops and cut them to fit the little sketch...paste them on...and you've got a guide for doing the booth.
