I'm a newbie and just wanted to know if anyone could give me some suggestions on how to keep my fondant from cracking when I put it on a cake?. Should I use more solid shortening?
it sounds like its drying out. so maybe you are spending too much time on it, or its sitting out before you start rolling? or you could be using too much icing sugar to roll it out on?
You should try chocolate fondant....it's the BOMB! Never any cracking.... long work time.... I just love it!
