use gray area of cake cruffles/truffles/balls

HINT: -- roll the cake cruffles/truffles/balls mixture out as a 1/2 in or so think sheet. Then use very small star cookie cutter to cut little stars that get dipped in chocolate or yellow candy melts.

I literally just shrieked in excitement...oops hehe. My DH is Air Force. I've been looking for the perfect idea for a "goodbye" cake for when we leave next month. I'm going to make this, and make little tools around it (he's a jet engine mechanic) to personalize it.
