Help Baby Bassinette Cake

I want to do a baby basinette cake. I want to do the 1/2 circle canopy. but, I want it hollow, so I can put a gumpaste baby inside. Andy ideas how to do the canopy?????

I think you can do this with tempered chocolate by painting a metal bowl and cutting the circle the size you need.
Someone else maybe able to help better.

Hi, you can do it with melted chocolate or candy melts? If you have a bowl to the size you want, melt the candy or chocolate and spread it inside the bowl. icon_smile.gif

I remember some one posted a step by step, but can't find it. Sorry!
