My son is getting married in August and I am making the wedding cake. Flavors to be figured out later, but I just bought the stencils from Designer Stencils to be used around the cake sides. The cake will be iced in buttercream and I now need help with a step by step direction on applying the chocolate stencil design. Anybody used these that wouldn't mind explaining the process to me?

I wish I could help...I've only done stencil work on the top of the cake. But I thought if I replied, it would at least bump your question to the top of the stack! Plus, when you get a decent reply, I'll get notified and then I can learn, too.

Chill the heck out the tier you are stenciling on. Lay that stencil flat on the side of the caek. Use very small spatula, NOT offset I have found is best....and work in small areas. Carefully peel it should be good to go.
