This is my first cake with fondant. Does anyone know how many pounds of fondant I would need to cover a 2-layer, 14" tier? Thanks in advance.

So I've bookmarked the site (I've alsways just sort of guessed before lol), but it brings up another question - how many pounds does a receipe of mmf or mff make?

1 lb marshmallow + 2 lb powder sugar + whatever flavor, water color = cca 3 lbs

for the marshmallow fondant i would just weight it at the end of the mixture to get a really accurate idea.
