I'm about to purchase and try Wilton impression mat for crusting buttercream. Anyone got any pointers on how to use it? What about making sure that the pattern alligns on the back?
Thanks in advance, P

That's basically it Pebbles1727 it's really easy just do not go all the way to the end of the mat when you're making the pattern.

I used mine for the first time this weekend. When you put it on the side of the cake, just use the middle part of the mat. If you go all the way to the edge of the mat, it will leave a line in the icing. It was pretty easy to line it up each time. As far as I know, the back usually never lines up. HTH

Right under the button post reply it says "watch this topic". If you click on that you can get email notifications without posting anything. HTH.

To the OP, ditto to what turtle3262 said.
