I am making cakes for two friends this summer. One is just two tiers and the other is 4. I plan on having both all stacked to transfer. What do you bring to the venue?

I bring a bag of icing filled for any botched border and the tips.Extra flowers...small spatula...pins...extra embellishments that you already used on the cake.Stuff like that..kinda like a sewing kit! .The idea is you wanna be able to do a quick fix up if something should shift or fall off during delivery.

Don't forget the camera and extra batteries.

I also like to pack some hand wipes, a roll of paper towels, maybe a bottle of water, and some scissors.

I usually take:

extra icing for any messups
the tips and decor used (extras)
paper towels
icing spatulas
camera/batteries
disposable decorating bag/parchment triangles
a cloth
hope!

Extra fondant, cutters (just in case) royal icing, spatula, towels. Also a rolling pin, which I know sounds extreme, but if something happened and I needed to roll it out, I would rather be safe than sorry.

Hand sanitizing wipes in case I can't wash my hands before working on it.

I'm doing a 5 tier for my niece's wedding in a couple of weeks & I was considering bringing it fully assemble but I am concerned about the weight. I wonder how heavy it's going to be. Anybody know, the largest is a 14" square?

Unbelievably heavy. A 3 tier covered in fondant fully stacked and the board I carry it on (that I take home with me, it's just for carrying) is about the limit that I can handle by myself.
