Flower Nail As A Heating Core?

Has anyone ever tried this - if so, how did the cake come out o.k.?

Yes!! I always put a flower nail in every size cake I make.. it makes me feel better.. and it works!!

I always use them and they work great. I also use the bake even strips and have hardly any hump on my cakes.

I use them in every cake 10" or larger. Works like a charm!

They work great!! So much better than the Wilton core.
