yikes...this one is really intimidating me. I haven't officially taken the order yet b/c I'm trying to figure out how to sculpt and make it. I don't even know how to begin pricing it as well.

I've done sculpted cakes before but anything with a face really scares me...there's a lot of artistry involved in this one. I have a general idea of using a stiffer filling and making a tower like shape and sculpting from there but decorating the outside may be a little harder. Does anyone have any advice on pricing or coating it. Has anyone done a cake like this before?

I don't do sculpted cakes really but my 1st thought would be to start w/a Wondermold. I wouldn't worry too much about the face thing as these things are not 'life like'(?) - there is much humor to their faces. Maybe a ball - rkt or styro - carved for the head/face?
Don't know if that helps at all or not.
