I am making 4 cakes that will be making the trip from Southern Pa to Connecticut. 3 are Easter cakes for Sunday and 1 is a birthday cake for Saturday. My parents are driving them up and they are just simple cakes that need no assembly. My issue is that they are leaving Friday morning. 2 cakes are buttercream with ri flowers, 1 covered in fondant, and 1 is bc with fondant roses. I baked the cakes today (thurs) and I bought the buttercream from the store to save me time and they do not refridgerate the bc. Should I tell them to put the cakes in the fridge or freezer or do you think they will be ok until Sunday. All the cakes will be frosted by tonight and the decorations will be put on tomorrow morning. What should I do? Thanks

I would think they would be fine out of the refrigerator.
