Help!! Wedding Is Friday And I Still Can't Decide

Hi Everyone. I am making a small wedding cake for a friend on Friday. It will be a 6-12 round, seperated by pillars, iced in white buttercream. The only things the couple told me they want are drop strings, and lilacs. Also they like lavendar.
Any ideas? I was thinking of doing white drop strings, and lavendar drop strings (two strings, idk what it is called). I also have made all of the lilac flowers ahead of time in royal icing. I was thinking of doing a bunch of lilacs at the top of each drop string. Do you think that would be ok? Or would that be too many lilacs?
I'm SO stuck!
Thanks!!!
I think what you have in mind sounds nice. If you think it's getting to be too many lilacs, you can adjust as you go. I don't think you'll really know till you get it going and see how you feel about it.
I think your design sounds lovely.
If you're worried having lilacs at the top of every drop string is too many you could start with them alternately then its less work if you change your mind.
good luck
Lyndsey xx
I think it will look good. Here is a pic of a cake I found to kind of get an idea of what you are thinking. Is this close? I know the flower is a different flower but I think it would be nice.
