has anyone got any tips on how to make ballet shoes for the top of a cake? it is for a lady, so i don't want them looking like a child's birthday or christening cake. i did get advice, but they looked more like bootees. Please Help!!!

Are you sure that she wants regular ballet slippers and not pointe shoes? My kids were very active and dance, and most of the older girls and adult did pointe, not just ballet. Pointe shoes would make it look more grown-up. If you do a google image search for pointe shoes, I'm sure you will find a picture, it's what a lot of people think of when they think of ballet. They have a flat toe and ribbons that tie up the legs.
