Canola Oil

I'm making a box cake mix which calls for vegetable oil but I only have canola. Will that yield the same result? Thanks.

It should be the same result. At one time or another I'm sure I used canola too. Now olive oil...that would be a different story, lol.

I never use vegetable oild, I only use Canola it is the best.

I switched to Canola oil for all my cooking a long time ago. You will have the same results :0)!

If I remember correctly, I think canola oil just has a milder flavor. I switch them out all the time with no problems.

LOL I have done that when desperate. I figure if it's good enough for italians, it's good enough for me! icon_lol.gif

Either way works now I did use some kind of oil that was suppose to be better for you envioe or something like that I could swear that I could taste it in the cake don't use it YUCK!!
