Hi,

I am in Australia. I know some aspects in these books which are not relevant to aussies. Just wondering if it is still worthwhile for me to get either one of these 2 books? Or is it a waste of money? I don't know anything on how to start up a business at all.

Can any aussies here give me some advice or tips on how to start a business? please provide links etc. How strict is the health regulation here?

Cheers

I recently bought Start a Cake Decorating Business from Home by Kathy Moores. I found the book quite helpful. It goes over all the categories you'll have to think about but she doesn't go into great detail about a lot of things.

She does give a lot of links but only to UK sites so that wouldn't be helpful to you.

I would recommend her book but don't expect for it to really enlighten you. I still felt overwhelmed after reading it but that's just my oppinion.

I hope you find what you're looking for. Good luck icon_smile.gif

Personally I would just start from page one on this business forum and read everything.

And it's free. thumbs_up.gif
