How many of your orders come in from your website e-mail. Do you always follow-up with a phone call or just confirm via e-mail? I finally got my site up and running and already received a few email about orders.

I answer all my questions regarding orders through email.I prefer it that way.I don't give out my phone number on my site..I only give it to them when they are picking up in case they get lost.I just find it easier to sit here and think what I wanna say before I type or find pictures to send or quote a cake price etc...sorta like quiet time!

I respond in the same fashion that they contacted me. If someone e-mails me then I correspond with them in e-mail. If they call me then I will call them to communicate with them. I assume people are more comfortable with whatever form of contact they initiated so I stick with that unless they say anything else is ok.

I check my email every hour to look for webform submissions. I follow up every email with a phone call.
