I've frozen sugar cookies withoug icing, defroasted then iced and they turned out just fine.

I wanted to know if anyone ever froze a sugar cookie with royal icing already on it?

Anyone tried this?

Thought I'd try again. Anyone ever frozen a decorated sugar cookie (with royal icing?)

Yes, I do it all the time. Sometimes I layer them in a tupperware container with wax paper between the layers. Or if they're cookie pops I wrap them individually then bag them in a freezer bag. I've done it for up to a month although I've read you can for 3months...butt I dont usually bake that far ahead. Make sure you dont have anything stinky in your freezer.

Can I add to this question? Can you baked a cookie that has royal icing and an edible image on it? Thank you.

I've never baked a cookie with any decorations on it before, maybe someone else would know.
