I have a twilght themed cake for a 12 year old.The Mom wants a small 2 tiered cake....What ideas from the show can I incorporate into the cake.I have not seen the show and don't really know what it is about.

You could always use the covers of the books for inspiration....

Search "Twilight" in the gallery. There are quite a few cakes. Most have an apple, a flower, 2 chess pieces and a torn ribbon - these are all images from the book covers. There are also some with lions and lambs which reference a quote from the 1st book in the series.

I bought the checkered pan set and I'm planning to do a white/dk chocolate cake and then cover with fondant and add the flower and just some smaller elegant flowers as well. It doesn't scream Twilight, but I don't really want to eat screaming cake...I'd feel guilty. XD I need sleep!
