I am trying to make my first LV purse cake. I want to "paint' the letters on the cake. How do i apply my gold dust so that it looks like it is painted on the cake.

Thanks for your suggestions.

You mix the dust with a clear alcohol liquid like vodka or white rum or even clear vanilla. You want the liquid to look like a heavy cream...not pastey or chunky.Brush it on the cake like you are painting. You may have to do a few coats as sometimes the metallics look streaky at first but a few coats will fix that.
