How Many Will This Feed?

I looked at Earlene's cake serving chart and I'm not sure I'm reading it correctly.


I'm making a 10" round cake with an 8" round stacked on top. Both have 2 layers.

How many would that feed? According to the chart I looked at, it would serve 45... that seems off to me.

10" round serves approx. 38

8" round serves approx. 24

62 total

I use the chart found here under the "articles" tab scroll down and you'll see the charts for both 2" and 3" pans

she bases her servings off 1.5inch I think vs 1 inch. Her portions are a little more generous than wilton. I think 30 servings for 10inch is fairly accurate but I can always get more for 8inch, usually around 20
