I have a 5:00 am drop of in the morning on a fondant cake with dull fondant - doesn't help that some has luster dust... makes some areas look worse. Any ideas do I brush it with something?

THANK YOU!!!!

it might be too late, i dont know wht the time difference is. but you could rub some crisco on it. but i dont know how that would mess with the lustre dust. fondant is generally dull anyway, i would just try not to worry about it if it is too late!

Hi, Sugarshack's tip - rub some crisco on the fondant! icon_smile.gif

I'll have to get the disco dusts never used it before. I like fondant but want to give it a better look - that will probably do the trick. THANK YOU! In desperation I used Crisco - and ya'll were right looked great.

I've never used it but Jester's has something called Luster Spray. There are different colors including pearl. That might give it a shine. The website is www.fondantsource.com. I just tried to order it last week but they were out.
