Hi everyone. I'm making lilacs to go on a wedding cake for next weekend, and I have spent HOURS making these tiny lilacs out of royal icing. I'm using the wilton method on their website. I've made hundreds of these tiny flowers, and I still have many more to make!

Does anyone have a different way to make lilacs? I've seen other threads about this, and tried a few different techniques, but I haven't had good results.

Any new ideas?

Thanks SO much!

I used the "old" star tip method on a cake that's in my gallery, and I thought it turned out rather pretty.
