I have a customer that wants a cupcake cake shaped like the number 1 , I have no idea how many cupcakes that would take or where to begin. Please Help! Need ideas

Wait 1 single cupcake cut and shaped in a #1 for maybe 12-14 cupcakes arranged in a #1 and frosted/decorated like the stored sell them?

Well... Its 1 cupcake per serving, so how many kids is she serving? Just make it that big... a straight line or 2 together for a thicker one, then a row across the bottom for the base and a couple at the top for the little "flag"at the top of the 1. Have you done a search here on cc to see ones others have done?
