Mixing Mousse With Pudding??

The recipe I use for mousse is a box of dream whip, a box of pudding and milk. Well this makes enough for when I do 8" cakes. Not even thinking about it, I am doing 10" for a family dinner tomorrow night. I need 3 layers of filling and don't have enough.

I do not have a way to get to the grocery store to get more dream whip, I do however have pudding and milk.

If I make a batch of pudding and mix it with my mousse, will it still be ok to use as a filling? I know either can be used alone so it should be ok right?

I know this is a total newb ??

Thanks everyone!!

Well I took a chance and had enough mousse. Trying to do this and watch ER finale....hopefully I'll be done before 9.

I would think it would be ok.
I would make them separate then fold them together.
