I was wondering... is there a difference between Rich's Bettercream vs Rich's Whip (non dairy topping)? icon_confused.gif I would LOVE to try some Bettercream recipes but sadly the only Rich's product I can find around my area is Rich's Whip (non dairy topping). icon_cry.gif Can Rich's Whip be used instead by just whipping it up? Is it as stable as Bettercream (meaning does it have to be refrigerated?) Thank you all in advance for the help!!!

Huge difference... Bettercreme is shelf stable so it can stay on the counter for like three days. Whipping cream has to stay refrigerated. It is frustrating to find it. There are some recipes here for mock bettercreme which is shelf stable like bettercreme. People even say it tastes similar. If you don't have a Sam's near you or a local cake supply store that carries it, check out the recipe. I am on the fence about buying it. My local cake supply store carries it but they charge $9.99 for a 32 oz which costs about $5 everywhere else. I hate paying double!
