Their house buttercream comes out very similar to SMBC...I just covered a SMBC iced cake in fondant and it turned out great. I wouldn't think the WBH BC would be much different!

Great! Any tips in handling this kind of BC....I have always used crusting BC and this will be my first time using this kind of texture!

I used the WBH House BC (not the other recipe which is more like SMBC).
I wouldn't recommend it unless you just use a very thin layer, just a crumbcoat.

When I used it, the fondant was all squishy and the person I gave it to noticed and mentioned how her kids stuck their fingers in and it left an indentation.

I use just a thin layer of bc. And I recently discovered using ganache under fondant...everyone loves it. (thanks sugarshack!)

Yes! This is my favorite buttercream and works just beautifully under Satin Ice fondant. icon_smile.gifthumbs_up.gif
