If my oldest son is not here then I throw them away as fast as possible! I did take some advice from here that I got a while back, I take a kitchen towel lay it over the cake and then I use a book and lay it on the cake and it kinda smooshes it down, and then I don't have to level. ( Kinda funny that the book I use is my weight watchers cook book )

My DH claims the "scraps", as he calls them. He cleans them right up!

I stick them in a ziplock bag and put them in the freezer. When I have enough of a stash, I will make cake balls.

Mine go into a big ziplock bag for my hubby. That is his gift for taking the time away from him to make the cakes. I guess that could explain his belly . But honestly, since i started using the bake even strips I dont have that much to cut off anymore.
