I make my gumpaste using Nic Lodges recipe with Tylose. So when I have emptied the container the tylose comes in, I put in some water and it forms glue. You can take some fondant, and pour hot water over it and let it sit over night. I do like the tylose glue better though...

i use little pieces of gumpaste with a little water, and let it sit for a little while until the gumpaste starts to "melt" into a thick liquid, then stir a little bit. works great as a glue. i keep mine in an emply bottle that use to be for cake sparkles.

I use either a little gumpaste dissolved in water or tylose. Either one works well for me.
