Has anyone ever heard of or used India Tree Fondant or Icing Sugar? i found it on amazon and i was just wondering about it, the powdered sugar is suppose to be pulverized to 1/100th the size of normal powdered sugar grains.

Wow!! That sounds interesting. I don't have anything to add but it would be interesting to find out. Maybe that would get rid of the gritty icing problem????

This is interest! I've always liked their pretty sugars. But I am picky about my fondant. If you order some, let us know how it is!

The product is "India Tree Fondant & Icing Sugar". It's a superfine ground powdered sugar. The term fondant here refers to a glaze icing like that put on donuts--it in no way refers to rolled fondant.

I hoped that this product was cornstarch free, but it's not--it contains 3% cornstarch, just like any other PS.

Given the immense cost of this product--near $7/lb.--I' afraid that it won't find it's way into my pantry.
