Parrish Wonder Mold Pan--Help!!

If anyone has had success with this pan please let me know how!! I recently bought it and I used the advice of the ladies at my local cake shop--reduce oven temp to 300 and cook for 1 hr 45 mins without the heating core. I did this and cake fell in the centre when I removed it from the oven. So I tried it again WITH the heating core and same thing happened. I have now tried both scratch and box cakes and nothing seems to cook evenly and not fall in the centre. Any idea what I am doing wrong??? Thanks ahead for any advice icon_smile.gif
