Just making sure this is possible? I've never done it before but a friend is requesting chocolate cake/chocolate buttercream covered with white fondant. The brown won't show through the white?

Thanks! icon_biggrin.gif

As long as your fondant isn't too thin, it will be okay - or you could do 2 layers of fondant icon_biggrin.gif

Yeah, I have done it before. I just do it a little thicker. The sweet 16 cake in my pics is a sheetcake that is buttercream but the round cake on top of it is chocolate icing with white fondant. I had no problems out of it.
