Anyone know how to make royal icing daffodils? which tip should I use?
I use tip 124 or 125. It is basically 6 petals piped on a rose nail, then use a different color with the same tip# and make a "ruffled cone" in the center of the flower.
I just posted a wedding cake photo in "my photos" that shows the daffodils.
I am using tips#104, 3 and 1. Royal Icing in medium consistency on petals and thin consistency for cones. Tip# 104 for the petals. Tip #3 for the "center cone" and tip #1 for "ruffle top of the center cone". Hope this help.
