If I coat a cake w/ Pastry Pride can I then cover it w/ fondant and put it in the fridge?

It's my understanding that this is NOT a good idea. Compressing the whipped frosting causes it to ooze out the bottom, making a mess and leaving a wet cake.

Unlike buttercream, the "substance" of Pastry Pride is air, so when you smoosh the air out, you don't have much left.

the part of pastry pride that is not air is moisture. The two with fondant equall disaster! Please do not try this
