Just wanted to know if anybody could recommend a decent free web hosting site.

I found Mister.net from a Google search and it sounds good (few pop ups and ads) and low cost - the web hosting is free for a year with the purchase of a domain name - so it sounds like a good deal, but since I've never done this before I'd really like to go by a recommendation.

Here are some of the ones I have bookmarked that I liked. I can't vouch for them, because I haven't used them yet. They look super simple though.

It's completely free unless you want to upgrade to no ads or banners, more space, and picking your own domain name...

I've had mine for 3 years.. have't paid a cent... and I love it. really easy to use.
