I am making sugarpaste hydrangeas for the first time and am wondering how do I connect the blossoms together so that it has the beautiful round full look that hydrangeas have. Can someone help me with this.
I am posting this again to see if I can have someone reply. Thanks.
Hi, there are Nic Lodge's and Bronwen's instructions in some back issues of American Cake Decorating.
But to actually answer your question, what I have done is make 45 blossoms for each hydrangea bunch I wanted. I wired them into groups of 3, then wired 3 groups of 3 together, so there would be 9 per bunch. Then wired 5 of the those together to get the bunch of 45. I hope that makes sense, it does to me, lol.
Yes, it does make sense; thanks so much for helping me
You're welcome, and I'm glad it made sense, lol!
