I have to say the WASC cake I made on the week end is just about the best white cake I have ever had. Tried dozens of scratch recipes over the last year or so but never found one I truely liked. A half recipe made two 8 inch cakes and a dozen cupcakes. Thanks to everyone who encouraged others to try it, now I can 100% recommend it also. Sitting here wondering if I can have a piece of cake for breakfast. thumbs_up.gif javascript:emoticon('thumbs_up.gif')

I have become an exclusive WASC baker myself. I don't use the almond or butter flavor. I use vanilla only. I don't like the taste of all 3 mixed together. Really, I'm not big on the almond flavor anyway.

Go ahead and have a piece for breakfast...as long as no one is looking, right?

I have seen many different WASC recipes on this form the one I use is too salty I was told to cut down on the salt I did and it helped but I too am not a almond fan niccicola can you tell me what recipe you use I would love just to use vanilla
