I just made my first boob cake today and all went fairly well. There are things that are wrong but nothing major. My main problem is getting the pattern right for the bra. The cake was iced in BC with a fondant bra. I tried making darts, but can't get it right. Is there a trick I don't know? Thanks for your help!

The best way I found is to make a "bra pattern". I have a corset cake in my gallery. I cut the cups separate, laid it on the cake and smoothed. I started from the middle and went to the outside - if there is to much fondant, you can cut it there. On the inside not so much. The pattern was circa half circle with smaller circle cut out on top. Look for bra sewing pattern to see what I mean.

For your cake it would be even easier. The fondant shouldn't be straight but rounded - see "real" bra pattern here:

The part in upper right corner. Sorry, I cannot add an attachment here.
