Hi all new to the forum...and gum paste flowers. I'm doing a small wedding cake this evening and was wondering when to add the flower topping. The wedding is not until Sunday and it's Friday evening, the person is picking it up Saturday night. If I place them tonight will they be ruined by Sunday..I've done the cake in buttercream icing? Thanks so much for any help thumbs_up.gif

Hello and welcome!

Having the GP flowers sit on buttercream for 2 days is too long.

Place them on the cake a couple of hours before the event. icon_smile.gif

Excellent!! I'm so glad the flowers were fine sitting on the BC for a day.

When do we get to see the cake? icon_biggrin.gif

I'm a bit ignorant when it comes to posting pictures....it was a really small cake and not one that I'm over the top about...I love the one you have under your username.
