I read somewhere on here that you can mix gum-tex in with fondant to make it dry faster and harder, is this true?

And if it is, how much gum-tex would i need for say 1lb of fondant?

TIA

in the wilton course 111, it says to add 1tsp. to 12 oz. of fondant... so i would add at least 1 1/2 - 2 tsp. to a lb.

I am not sure but when I took a wilton class I believe it was 1 to 2 tbsp for a whole pack of ready made fondant. Their's came in 24 oz. packs. HTH
