Hi everyone,
does anyone have tried and true recipe for keylime cake? My coworkers got me one from this posh bakery this week, and honestly, even though it was probably not the best, it got me interested in trying a good one. I never had a key lime cake before. What kind of filling and icing do you pair it up with? I think this one was cream cheese but it was hard to tell.
Please help. I think done right, it could be my favorite cake...

This is an easy recipe. I have made it more times than I can count... it's a huge hit as cupcakes garnished with a slice of lime...
I always add more lime juice than it calls for, I like it tangy!
