I have to make an emergency cake TONIGHT so luckily i have a frozen one...what is the quickest way to defrost it so that i can start decorating it? I dont want to compromise the flavour or texture though.....
can i use the microwave?
I have put them in the MW a time or two. Just do 10-15 seconds zap, then let stand at least an equal time. Do that 3-4 times and it should be o.k. depending on the size of the layers.
