Hi Fellow CC'rs!

I got an order to do a quinceanera cake due in two weeks and I have questions about how to deal with this: It will be a stacked fondant covered cake, 8",10",12", and a 14". The design they chose has fondant swags comming down diagonally from cake to cake with lilies placed where they meet (the classic design with drapes seen in the galeries). I will need to transport the cake about a half hour away. I am going to transport the top two tears separate from the bottom. My issue is that I don't know if I should place the fondant drapes on the cakes at home and they will be fine going through the delivery, or if I should place them on at the venue. I'm worried because I dont know if I will have time or space to do that there. I can't even sleep over this sometimes! I'm scared of having the drapes fall off or something!! Please, to all those who have done this before, do you have any advice as to how to deal with a design like this? Thanks so much in advance!!!

If you use white candy melts to attach the drapes, they will not fall off.
